JEE, NEET application correction last date postponed to May 3: HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal tweets

HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted that he had asked NTA to further postponed the application correction last date for both JEE Main and NEET exams.

Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted on Tuesday that he had asked NTA to postponed the application correction last dates for both JEE Main and NEET to May 3 in view of the extended lockdown.
The last date for corrections has been earlier set to April 14 when the application correction window had opened in the first week of April.

NEET was earlier scheduled to be held on May 3, but at March-end, it was postponed to the last week of May 2020. JEE was earlier scheduled to begin on April 5, but that too was postponed till the third week of May.

Students can now use the extended time to carefully make sure they make all the necessary changes, including the choice of city for exam centre, before submitting the application forms for JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020.

The notifications uploaded by the HRD Minister on his Twitter handle stated that the decision to postpone the last dates was taken because of several requests from candidates and parents.
