Tuesday status: 19 more cases, 8th death, Kashmir tally crosses 500
Srinagar: Nineteen new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Kashmir on Tuesday as the region breached 500 mark even as it witnessed its seventh death due to the virus. Overall, 565 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in J&K now of which 507 are from Kashmir alone. Eight deaths have taken place in the Union Territory. The fresh cases have been detected in Shopian (03), Baramulla (05), Anantnag (08), Kupwara (01) and Pulwama, which was declared Covid-19 free earlier, came up with two cases.
