5 minor girls drown in stagnant rainwater at Zewan, Sgr
Three rescued on time, 2 more develop breathing issues, shifted to hospital

Srinagar, May 25: Five minor girls drowned in a stagnant rainwater near stone quarries in Zewan area of Srinagar this afternoon of who were rescued jointly by the police and people of which three are alright while two others were shifted to a hospital.
Eye-witnesses told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that many children including minor girls were playing on the eve of Eid and at least five of them slipped into the stagnant rainwater near stone quarries at Zewan. Locals informed police and later carried out joint rescue operation.
