How to link Aadhaar with mobile number
Aadhar card is an identity proof that shows you are living in India. It serves as the purpose of identity verification wherever the proof of citizenship is required. It is a 12-digit unique identity code for all individuals. It can be linked to a mobile number through OTP (online) or by visiting the service centre (offline).
The mobile subscribers who have already linked their mobile numbers with Aadhar card can re-verify it through OTP. Other mobile subscribers whose numbers are not linked with Aadhaar card will have to follow the offline process to link their SIM with Aadhaar by visiting a store.
Here is how to link Aadhaar with a mobile number through OTP.
Step 1: Call 14546 from your mobile number.
Step 2: Then, make a choice between Indian or NRI.
Step 3: Now, re-verify Aadhaar by tapping 1.
Step 4: Now, you have to give a 12-digit Aadhaar.
Step 5: Tap 1 to confirm after giving 12-digit Aadhaar.
Step 6: You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.
Step 7: Allow your operator to access your details from UIDAI(Unique Identification Authority of India).
Step 8: Verify the last 4 digits in your mobile number.
Step 9: Then enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
Step 10: In the end, tap 1 to complete.

Step 1: Provide a self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card with your mobile number.
Step 2: Then, you will receive an OTP on the mobile number which you want to get linked.
Step 3: Get your OTP verified by the executive.
Step 4: Now, you will submit your finger impression.
Step 5: Now, you will get a confirmation SMS on your mobile number.
Step 6: Type ‘Y’ and tap send to complete the e-KYC process.
