J&K Admin renews certain lockdown rules from July 4

Srinagar: In the wake of rising Covid19 cases and daily hospital-based and non-hospital based fatalities, Jammu & Kashmir administration on Friday night issued new lockdown guidelines and measures in the ‘UT’ with effect from July 4, 2020.

No inter-UT/state, inter-province and inter-district movement of public transport like buses and private transport shall be allowed to ply in Jammu & Kashmir after July 4, except for the cases as stipulated specifically in the latest order, which means prior permissions and medical emergencies.

There shall be no inter-province and inter-state/UT movement of individuals except after obtaining permissions.

All universities, colleges, schools and coaching institutions shall continue to remain closed.

No social, sports, academic, political, entertainment, religious functions and other large gatherings and congregations shall be allowed. Religious places and places of worship shall remain closed until further orders.

Persons above 65 years ago, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below 10 years of age shall stay at home except for meeting essential requirements or for health purposes.

Agricultural and certain industrial activities, operations of bazars shall continue in accordance to the already-existing guidelines for red zones and non-red zones.
